And what if tomorrow our ordinary cars were powered by the sun's energy? Even if this is not yet the case, Litogami, company specialized in the creation of photovoltaic, ecological and responsible objects, unveils its latest concept: a miniature car featuring ASCA® organic photovoltaic film.
A prototype powered by the sunA pre-cut cardboard sheet, a small motor, a battery, a few wires, an ASCA® photovoltaic module and that's it, that's how this small prototype works. Thanks to its extreme flexibility, ASCA® organic photovoltaic film has been curved to adapt to the space available. To be able to run, Autogami has to be placed in natural or artificial light during the day so that the ASCA® organic photovoltaic film can recharge its battery. This gives it an autonomy of 20 to 30 minutes for a top speed of 2km/h.
A solar car marketed shortlyEven though for the time being, Autogami, powered by ASCA® organic photovoltaic film, is not marketed, it will be very soon:
"This miniature car, which is still in the "concept-car" stage, will quickly become a marketable product." says Marc LEBAC | Founder of LITOGAMIFurther proof that ASCA® photovoltaic film can be adapted to all types of applications! Let's hope that one day we will encounter "life-size Autogami" cars on our roads!
